This is realised by a high-tech process that offers unique quality and many new, permanent and first-time applications, e. g.  antifog, anti-scratch, self-cleaning or easy-to-clean.

The Sol-Gel Technology is a superior sythesis method employed in most of our coating materials. It offers a wide spectrum regarding layer composition and functionality. The Sol is synthesised out of a functionlised silane and can be stored over months in a stabilised state as a processable varnish with solid contents. The solvent and further ingredients are added according to the specific subtrate type and functionality required. A highly intertwined, functional matrix is created by thermal curing and hardening of nanostructures - e.g. a hydrophilic matrix for antifog coatings. A layer thickness between 1-5µm is realised in serial coatings. Due to the high transparency and long-time stability, these coating layers are perfectly suited for use in automotive and industrial applications.
